Quick Guide for the Merchant Web App
Adding members
Customers* of Belong will need to add their employees as members under 'My Members' from the Belong 'Manage' webpage.
Adding Members:
Members can be added by clicking the 'bulk upload' button. To add a large group of members (we recommend a maximum of 100 at a time), click 'bulk upload'. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window (enter information in the format: email address, first name, last name). An account activation email will then be sent to the email addresses entered. Once your employee has activated their Belong account their information will be displayed in the list of members. If an employee does not receive the email make sure they check their spam folders. If they still don't get the email simply re-enter their details to send a new one.

Content is a discount/special that is used in a campaign. The purpose of Content is to be able to reuse the discount/special/offer in different Campaigns.

They also target different users dependent on what information they have supplied, ordering the offers accordingly. The 'Locations' tags lets you add Locations previously created. This allows you to choose which locations/stores will offer this deal. Selecting tags is optional but the Location tag is important if you want a website, email address and phone number to be displayed.
MediaClick 'Choose File' to browse your computer files for an image. Make sure you click 'upload' when done otherwise the image will not be saved. You are able to upload and save more than one image. Delete an image by clicking the 🗑 icon on the image.
Click 'save' when you are done or 'back' to change any details.

Campaigns are the final step in creating an offer, they use Locations and Content previously created along with restrictions (e.g. offer expiry date, maximum redemption) to create the final offer that is displayed in the customer applications.
Creating a new campaignClick on 'add new' button in top right of screen.
CampaignGive your Campaign a name and description by filling out the boxes. It is recommended the name be no more than 60 characters otherwise it will be cut off in the app. The campaign description does not have a limit, however we recommend it be no longer than 500 characters in order to keep customers interested. Both of these will be displayed in the app.
ContentTo add content to your campaign type in the title of the content you want to add and select it from the drop down. Make sure you click 'add' otherwise the content will not be attached. Once added a preview of your content will be displayed showing the content image, title and description. At the moment it is not possible to have more than one piece of content attached to a campaign (it is possible to add them but it does not mean you will be able to have more than one picture/description associated with a single campaign).
MediaBased on the images attached to your content you can select the image that will display with your campaign. No image displaying? Make sure your content has been added to your campaign, click back to check that the content you selected is previewing (image, title and description are displaying). Select an image by clicking on it. Selected images will be highlighted by a yellow border. You can only attach one image to a campaign. If more than one is selected only one (or none) will show.
Selling OptionsThere are two pricing options: 'Set Price' (requires an in app purchase - use of a credit/debit card) and 'Discount' (no in app purchase, usually for a voucher/coupon offer type). Select the pricing type you want for your campaign from the drop down and fill in the corresponding fields. For both types you can then select the 'Campaign Availability'. This is how many vouchers/offers can be redeemed by customers. Once the maximum number has been reached your offer will no longer display on the deals page. You can set this to an unlimited quantity.
AvailabilityEnter the start and end dates for your campaign in the boxes provided. There is also an option for entering the days a voucher is valid from purchase (valid from purchase is defined as the number of days from when an offer gets put in a user's 'saved offers' or in their 'purchase history' – depending on the offer's pricing option). Selecting available times is not yet functioning however it's purpose is to allow you to specify when an offer can be used (i.e. only redeemable in off peak times). The default option is your store's opening hours.
TargetingTags will be populated based on the setup of your content. You can review tags here and add/remove them (Note: pre-population not currently working, also the categories button is missing). Make sure you add the locations you have previously created here. If a location is not selected it will not show up in the app.
ConditionsThe important part. Make sure you outline your terms and conditions clearly here. You can also add a redemption limit per user here.
Click 'save' when you are done or 'back' to change any details.
You're not done just yet! Last of all you have to publish your campaign. This is done in the 'My Campaigns' page. Here you can manage what campaigns are live in the app, these can easily be identified by their status colour.
To publish a campaign click on the tick button under the options column of a campaign. This will send the offer to the admin team at Belong who will double check spelling and image quality so your offer is at its best!
If you want to disable a campaign simply click on the cross icon. You can do this at any time to remove your offer from the app and does not require approval from the Belong team. If your offer is still displaying, try closing and restarting the app.

redemptions
Merchants can manage redemptions under 'Redemptions' from the Belong 'Manage' webpage.
With the voucher codes a merchant has collected they can enter these into the Belong Merchant web portal. Enter the voucher code and click enter. By entering these codes a merchant can keep track of the number of offers redeemed. Once the maximum number of redemptions is reached the offer will be removed from the app.

To edit existing Campaigns click on the ✎ icon. When finished editing remember to click 'save'.
To delete existing Campaigns click on the 🗑 icon.
Campaigns can also be searched using the search bar.
Redemptions
Merchants can manage redemptions under 'Redemptions' from the Belong 'Manage' webpage.
With the voucher codes a merchant has collected they can enter these into the Belong Merchant web portal. Enter the voucher code and click enter. By entering these codes a merchant can keep track of the number of offers redeemed. Once the maximum number of redemptions is reached the offer will be removed from the app.
